I'm glad someone else is skeptical about this. It's interesting to see how many people are ready to jump on the band wagon no matter how rickety it is.
I'll publicly eat my hat if this is true.
it has been brought to my attention that there may be a major scandal working in the billings montana area.
it involves more than ten elders in a motel room at the district convention this summer and 14-16 year old girls.
my information source says there is more to come with possible charges being filed, but key jw's work for social services there and are involved in the investigation.

an emergency meeting has been called by jack dowson at london bethel.
all co's and do's were recalled yesterday and are meeting at 2pm today in bethel (most have left the visiting congregations in limbo.
the meeting is today(starts at 2pm), tomorrow and finishing on friday at 12 noon.
This is a little off topic but I can tell you one thing that's going on with COs, at least in the US. They're bringing back old COs that have retired, gone off the road because of health or even been taken off for other reasons. Some of these guys are in their 60s and one is even in his 70s. Can't provided documentation on this but it is absolutely true. I can think of any number of reasons why this is going on, most of them not very good for the organization.
my brother, who is an elder, just called me to see how i was doing.
he doesn't know that i'm not attending the meetings.
i asked him how him & his wife, a pioneer are doing.
In talking to a considerable number of Witnesses I've been told that there is no impact whatsoever on the door-to-door ministry because of the abuse issue. Frankly most people haven't even heard of it.
This story doesn't sound right to me. It may be true on some localized basis but I wouldn't draw any large scale conclusions on the basis of what's been said here.

since watchtower attempted to "ruin the earth" they were required to post $25,000.00 bond in their cleanup effort.
if watchtower continues to comply with the law of the land, $20,000.00 of the $50,000.00 fine is suspended.
One thing for sure, this board never lacks a surfeit of stupidity. I bet if you look really hard you can find out that someone at Bethel has been given a parking ticket.
and just why the hell is iraq still on the map?!.
we've had our time to remember and mourn and heal.
no more memorial services are going to make me feel any better about what happened last year.
You obviously haven't been paying much attention to the US media. They spend 90% of their time saying the US shouldn't attack Iraq.
as you may already know, i own the internet domain "watchtower.ca" (note, ".ca" stands for canada).
if you go to www.watchtower.ca (thinking it might be the bethel canada site, which it would be if non-idiots were working at bethel canada) you are redirected to http://quotes.jehovahswitnesses.com (heh heh heh).. but it gets better: any email sent to <anybody>@watchtower.ca gets sent to me ([email protected]).. i just thought i would solicit your comments on the email i received via this method.
it appearst that brian andersen was forwarding some information from his private home email address to his work email address.
Y'all don't get out much do you?

Bendrr check out www.debka.com sounds like it shouldn't be that long. Those guys haven't been 100% accurate but they're right a lot more often than they're wrong and they almost always break stuff before anyone else.

You can be fined $50,000 because of run off from your parking lot. You're making way too big a deal of this. It's almost impossible for any large organization to avoid some kind of an issue with the EPA or similar state, county or city agencies at some point. Give it a rest, $50,000 doesn't constitute ruining the earth. That costs at least $60,000.

not content with being appreciative of the r&f's attendance at the meetings, the borgmeisters want them there early!
just being there isn't nearly so good as being early.
oh no, true christians are evident by their being early for the meetings.
Nothing new here, this has been the song for as long as I can remember.
The perennial lateness of many is very telling. They're only coming out of loyalty because the content of the meeting is so insipid and repetitive there's no real motivation to get there on time, much less early.
muslim rebels in the southern philippines have beheaded two christian hostages, part of a group of jehovah's witnesses seized on tuesday.
the two severed heads were found by the philippines military on the remote southern island of jolo.
the army chief on jolo, brigadier general romeo tolentino, said that a note was attached to one of the heads, saying: "those who do not believe in allah will suffer the same fate.
What a revealing thread.
